Hi Julian,

I wanted to thank you all for last Saturday and the great music you all played.

I had a brilliant time dancing to all but one of the dances, so I neglected my guests really!

The feedback from people has been so good, with someone in her 60s saying it was the best ceilidh she's ever been to!

The caller explained the dances really well so it helped inexperienced dancers to feel confident and to go back for more dances.

I was surprised that so many newbies were willing to get up and have a go!

Please let us know if you're playing locally in the future, so we can come along!

Dear Julian,

Red Shed were brilliant on Saturday.

Everybody so enjoyed the lovely happy music you play, and your caller was so skilful in enticing everybody onto the floor.

I'm not aware of anyone who failed to dance apart from my parents (in their late eighties) and four folk who had broken limbs or were recovering from major surgery!

The dancers included at least two dozen people who I never expected to take to the floor under any circumstances!

One of the bridesmaids (aged 7) actually managed EVERY dance and there were quite a few of us not far behind that tally.

The day was already going supremely well before you took over, but you capitalised on that superbly and gave the couple and all their guests a night to remember.
